3D Printing & Fabrication

If it is broken, discontinued, or never existed, I can make it. Functional parts, in a material chosen for the job.

What I Print

Replacement Parts

Automotive clips, appliance latches, machinery guides, HVAC components. When they only sell the whole assembly, I print the part that broke — usually stronger than the original.

Common jobs: Car door clips, vent covers, conveyor guides, knobs and handles.

Custom Mounts & Brackets

Network gear, cameras, sensors, tools, automotive equipment — I design and print mounts that fit the space you actually have.

Common jobs: AP ceiling mounts, camera brackets, tool holders, battery racks.

Enclosures & Housings

Weatherproof boxes, control panel enclosures, protective covers — custom sizes, gasket channels, mounting points.

Common jobs: Sensor housings, electrical boxes, equipment covers, outdoor enclosures.

Signage & Displays

Lighted signs, nameplates, business displays — designed, printed, and wired. Ready to hang.

Common jobs: Business signs, warning labels, laser-etched nameplates, display stands.

Prototypes

A printed version in your hands before you commit to production, so you can check fit, function and form for real rather than on screen.

Common jobs: Product prototypes, concept models, fitment testing, iterative design.

Laser Etching

Permanent serialization, branding, warning labels on printed parts. Traceability built in.

Common jobs: Serial numbers, logos, QR codes, safety labels, part numbers.

Pricing

🧮 Price Estimator

Get an instant estimate for your 3D print job. Enter your part details below:

More infill means more plastic. On thin parts it makes almost no difference — they are all wall.

Up to 8 in one print. Each extra color adds purge plastic and swap time.

For parts that mix materials, like a PLA body with TPU grips.

Finer holds small features but takes longer. Coarser lays thicker walls — stronger and faster, softer on detail.

Setup fee charged once per order

How 3D Printing Pricing Works

Two-part pricing: Filament + Print Service Fee

  • Filament cost: Priced based on Bambu Lab retail pricing. Covers the material and what it costs to get it here. A small allowance is added for supports and brim — the plastic that gets used but isn't part of your finished piece.
  • Multicolor and mixed materials: Up to 8 filaments in one print. Every swap purges plastic and stops the printer, so 2 filaments add +20% filament, 3–4 add +35% and 5–8 add +50%, and machine time rises +15% for each filament after the first, up to +60%. A second material is charged at its own price for the share of the part it makes up.
  • Print service fee: A $5.00 setup fee once per order, plus a per-gram rate covering machine time, power, wear, slicing, and basic post-processing (support removal, cleaning).
  • Volume pricing: The per-gram rate steps down as the job gets bigger. A 1kg print costs about half what it would on a flat rate.
  • Total cost: Filament + Print Fee = Your Price, with a $10.00 minimum order. Detailed quote provided before printing.

Design work, laser etching, and advanced post-processing (sanding, vapor smoothing, painting) are quoted separately.

Filament Pricing (at cost)

Filament costs based on current Bambu Lab retail pricing. Prices vary by color and availability — I'll confirm current pricing in your quote.

Print Service Fees

Service fees cover machine time, power, wear, setup/slicing, and basic post-processing (support removal, cleaning). A $5.00 setup fee applies once per order — not per part — and the per-gram rate drops as the job gets bigger, because setup is spread across more parts and large prints run faster per gram.

Job size Rate per gram
First 100g $0.035/g
100g – 500g $0.022/g
500g – 1kg $0.015/g
Over 1kg $0.012/g

Each band applies only to the grams inside it, so the price never jumps at a boundary. Minimum order $10.00.

Standard Quality (0.2mm layer)

Base rate (x1.0)

Most common choice. Good balance of speed and finish. Functional parts, prototypes.

High Quality (0.12mm layer)

1.5x base rate

Visible surfaces, cosmetic prints, detailed models. Smooth finish, longer print time.

Draft Quality (0.28-0.32mm layer)

0.7x base rate

Large parts, test fits, structural components. Fast turnaround, visible layer lines.

Multi-part Orders

Setup charged once

Batches share one setup fee and reach the volume rate sooner — 20 small parts work out around $2.58 each.

*Service fees are separate from filament cost. Total = Filament + Print Service Fee. Quote provided before printing.

CAD Design / Reverse Engineering

$75/hour or flat rate per part

Simple parts: $50-150 flat rate. Complex assemblies: hourly. Includes iterative revisions until fit/function is confirmed.

Laser Etching

$0.08/sq inch + $25 setup

Permanent marking on printed parts (serial numbers, logos, labels). Volume discounts: 10+ parts = 20% off, 50+ parts = 40% off.

Post-Processing

$25-75/part depending on finish

Support removal (included), sanding ($25), vapor smoothing ($50+), painting ($75+). Quote provided based on requirements.

Rush Service

+50% for 48hr, +100% for 24hr

Rush turnaround when I have capacity. Standard turnaround: 5-10 business days for most jobs.
